Build a dry well

A pile or well has a limited lifespan of five years on average. After that, the question arises, what should happen to the well pipe. By loosening and turning the well, in some cases an extension of the water supply can be achieved, however, the filters of the well are eventually irreparably added.

It is definitely worth trying to pull the well pipe completely out of the ground. With a tripod and a winch, the old well can usually be pulled easily, with a pulling power from a ton is ideal. The pulling must be slow, even and vertical, otherwise the weakest points of the well pipe, the threaded connections can break quickly.

Turning the pile well several times may make pulling easier. Through some side auxiliary bores, water can be pumped into the soil around the well pipe, possibly loosening up the soil a little.
